Christoph Hilgert from Munich’s Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and research fellow at the Hans-Bredow-Institute in Hamburg explains his PhD project about the BBC’s and West-German radios’ debates about young people as well as their programmes for young listeners between 1945 and 1963.
